SUPER BLOOD so far...

Weekly Edition 006

Hey ya’ll, this week I decided to collect the thumbnails I’ve completed so far into a single post.

BUT before that I wanted to share some progress I’ve made in set design. Most of the story takes place either in or around three distinct vehicles, and so figuring out what the model and make of these cars should be is an important part of the comic.

I’ve landed on:

1. Victim’s Car: White 2019 Landrover Ranch Rover Evoque

2. Villains’ Car: Blue 2015 Chevy Camaro with custom red headlights

3. “Hero’s” Car: Red 1983 Toyota Trueno

To help with modeling I even bought some scale versions of the cars

The Toyota should be arriving to my house soon, but here’s a image of an actual one:

With the cars picked out, now I just need to finish designing the characters 😅

But enough of that, with no further ado, here’s the completed thumbnails so far (you’ll note that pages 2 and 3 have been significantly updated.)

There we have it. I’m almost about halfway through completing the thumbnails (the finished comic should be around 25 pages), and I really want to buckle down and finish these so I can finally begin penciling the actual comic. (Though a lot of the work is being completed in these thumbnails. They’re really more than just thumbnails, more rough pencilling which I’ll be able to use when working on my finished pencils).
