I’ve been busy at work with creating my next comic strip as well as figuring out what exactly I’m doing comic book-wise.
While Super Blood is put on the back burner, the plan is to release three issues of a solo creator anthology comic called Sliced Timber (which is a silly name for paper), and then finally complete Super Blood.
This logo still very much in the works, but I wanted to share with you some of the early production of the book design.
As for the book’s contents, it will be divided up into a series of disconnected stories:
Part 1: the young Lumberjack Nick / Dad stories
Part 2: The Apartment (working title)
Part 3: 7 Ate 9 (a pop punk band story)
Part 4: Noon at Trader Joe’s (how I met Jenni, my wife)
And in-between these will be 1 to 2 page comic shorts like the “Huckleberry” comic I shared in my last letter.
Okay with no further ado, here is my latest comic:
This comic took me about a month to create. I’m hoping to have the first issue of Sliced Timber released in April. So if I want it to come out in April of this year I really need to kick it into gear!
Until next time!
